15. M Zahid Bhutta - January 30, 2012

Respected Shadia, Daughter of Muhtarma Surayya Shahab,

Asslamu Alaikum,

Best wishes for you, your family and your great mother!

I am Zahid Bhutta residing is Lahore Pakistan. I have been working at Radio Pakistan, Lahore since 2005 and mainly performing as announcer & compare. I have asked from the radio people about Muhtarma Surayya Shahab for many time but no one told me about her. Might be they did not know that she had come back and settled again in Pakistan.

I thank Almighty Allah that He enabled me to search and know about Surayya Shahab through this site. I never met your mother but her work has made us a big fan of her. We all family members recall and remember her as the best female newscaster on PTV as well as Radio Pakistan.

I wished to see her but I thought, it was not possible now because of her health. We, very heartily, make dua for her recovery and good health. May she live long.

If you feel appropriate, please reply.

Best regards and have a good time in US.

16. Shadia - February 1, 2012

17. Munir H. Shah - May 12, 2012

My daughter, Syeda Zainab Bukhari, former student of Government Model School, F-7, B. Com student of Islamabad Model College of F-10 and MBA student of Islamic University introduced me probably through you to your illustrious mother. Whole of my childhood and youth passed listening to her with marked regularity on Radio Iran Zahdan and even on Radio Germany and when I am at the last leg of life, I was shivered to see her in a weak and frail condition. I could not talk to her because I was in a position of shock and awe to see one of the most presentable and eloquent lady of Pakistan.
